Will this presentation teach me to pierce?
The Association of Professional Piercers provides health and safety information relevant to body piercing. However, we do not train piercers. Our online courses are generally intended for people already working in the piercing industry and will not teach you how to pierce. Learn more here.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?
"In Pursuit of the Spirit" is a presentation of the Body Piercing Archive (BPA) and does not generate a certificate upon completion.

Will this presentation make me an APP member?
Our online courses are not a part of the application process. Learn about APP membership here.

What if multiple people in the same studio want to take this presentation?
Each person taking our courses must have their own unique account created with their individual email address. Please do not create an account or purchase an account on behalf of someone else. 

What if I can't remember my login?
Please remember the username, email address, and password you used to register with Oasis. If you forget your login information please use the recovery function.

How long do I have to complete the presentation?
You may take breaks by logging in and out of this course. There is no time limit.

Can I use my phone to take APP courses online?
Not all functions may be reliable on your phone. We suggest using a computer to take our online courses. There are videos and downloadable documents in this presentation. The quality of your internet connection may affect performance. 

Are there tests?
This presentation does not require viewers to complete quizzes.

Who can take APP courses online?
This presentation is available to anyone who wishes to view it. You are not required to be a piercer or member of the APP to take our online courses.
