Proposing, Developing, and Delivering Classes for The APP is an online presentation that will teach instructors and those that want to become instructors the basics to making successful educational content for piercers. Topics covered will include: the attributes of a good instructor, developing a proposal for the curriculum committee, preparing class content, the three act structure philosophy, the do’s and don’ts of Google Slides, Handouts, A/V Preparedness and Public Speaking for Beginners.

This presentation is in English and includes closed captioning for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Who is this presentation for?
This presentation is for any person aspiring to be become a speaker for the APP or who would like to submit class proposals to the association's curriculum committee for review. Past and present speakers at APP events are also invited to view this presentation.

No. This presentation is for informational purposes only and not directly associated with our health and safety educational offerings.

Do I need to be an APP member to view this presentation?
No. However, speakers at APP events are often members or specialists in their field. Proposals are appreciated from anyone.

If I complete this presentation do I become an APP speaker?
No, but becoming an APP member and submitting a great class proposal will increase the chances of you speaking to a classroom of your peers.
